Princeton Tool, a Princeton Precision Group company is seeking an experienced, 1st shift Maintenance Mechanic to support our Tampa-Brandon area facility.
The Maintenance Mechanic will maintain and repair production and facility equipment, collaborate with site leadership when outside services are required, and maintain and track maintenance records.
Highlights and Benefits Quarterly profit-sharing bonus Paid time off 401(k) with company match Paid holidays Tuition / professional development reimbursement Excellent health and wellness options Limitless opportunities for advancement Clean, climate-controlled environment Maintain production and facility equipment to include installation, set up, preventative maintenance and adjustments required by technical service instructions Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment Repair / replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment Work with riggers as necessary to install new equipment Safely troubleshoots, performs repairs, and executes all preventative maintenance tasks Inspects and tests equipment to detect causes of malfunctions on hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatics Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment Capable of reading blueprints pertaining to hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, molding machines and auxiliary equipment Dismantle machinery and equipment to gain access and perform diagnosis Remove and replace worn or defective parts Repair / replace hoses, wiring, valves, etc.
reassemble and verify proper function Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery Repair and maintain physical structure of the facility Communicate to management when outside repair services are required Maintain, document, and constantly improve preventative / predictive maintenance functions Maintain a high standard of housekeeping with regard to work areas Respond to and manage water or machine lubricant spills and / or emergencies Follow all safety precautions on repairs to equipment, machinery and tools per OSHA and complete any and all tasks or assignments as requested Knowledge, skills, and abilities 5
years of experience repairing and maintaining machining equipment.
Including but not limited to CNC, waterjet, EDM, manual, wax mold injectors Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment Experience operating various hand tools and machining equipment Ability to perform and complete tasks with little to no supervision Ability to demonstrate excellent time management skills Willingness to work overtime as required to keep production equipment in working order Ability and willingness to thrive in and environment where business and team needs may change quickly to help meet business and customer demands Experience repairing / maintaining EDM and CNC milling machines is a plus but not required PI226497989 Recommended Skills Assembly And Installation Blueprinting Housekeeping Hydraulics Industrial Production Lathes Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
