What are we looking for in our Medical Assistant ? Pride Health is seeking candidates for a Medical Assistant opportunity based in Sun City, FL.
This is a 9 months assignment (Contract to Hire) Clinic Hours:
Monday-Friday 8:
00 AM - 5:
00 PM Pay rate:
$18-23/hr ((Pay rate depends on experience, expertise and education) Duties:
Collect pertinent patient data (e.
g.
, vital signs; complaints; medications and allergies; surgical history; family history; health screening information) in order to identify care needs Provide relevant medical services/care as directed by physicians (e.
g.
, injections; blood draws; procedures; treatments) Coordinate and/or conduct pre-visit and/or follow-up preparations to help patients receive comprehensive preventative care (e.
g.
, step calls) Provide necessary equipment and supplies to support patient care (e.
g.
, DMEs; Accu Cheks; testing strips; Prior authorizations through insurances) Qualifications/Requirements:
Medical Assistant Certification BLS Certification Preferable 6 months
experience but not mandatory Preferable ECW experience for easier onboarding experience but not mandatory Venipunctures not mandatory but needs to be willing to learn Interested?
